So Michael shows you the powers that can be had from knowing how to approach building a list of buyers, not just your usual tyre kicker, freebie seekers.
The techniques are split into 10
separate videos where Michael shows you where and how to get these responsive and proven buyers to join your list.
So the next step is to break each one of his systems down and see if they actually work...
VIDEO 1 - LOW COST PRODUCTS
In this video, Michael explains how you can use low cost products (he shows you the different types you might wish to sell) and goes into detail of the best ways to acquire customers who will then go onto your subscriber list.
Michael explains the reasons why you will want to do this and what types of scripts you can use to make the system more powerful. He then explains the overall strategy involved and even the magic price points that you need to consider when pricing your product.
I think that a lot of more experienced marketers may be aware of this system, but there are an equal amount of people who've not though about this approach and certainly not aware of the ways to make this marketing strategy take a life of its' own via affiliates and strategic pricing.
I can say with total certainty that this strategy works 100% every time, considering you have a half decent low cost product. The best part is that the low cost products are
a lot easier to create than you think and can pay off big time when you apply
Michael strategies.
VIDEO 2 - RUN A WSO
In this video, Michael explains how to use the Warrior Forum to attract hyper responsive buyers. He explains the background of this forum and why you need to consider getting involved in the forum and what a WSO actually is.
If you're not aware, a WSO is an offer you can pay to list at the Warrior Forum where there are thousands of targeted buyers that will see your offer.
Michael explains the process and you can always check it out yourself at www.warriorforum.com.
This is a great place to kick start your business but I would say that it is more effective when you are in the Internet Marketing Training niche. In other words, if you sell Golf training videos, you might not get as much response, however the Warrior Forum is still a great place to find affiliates who can sell your entry level product (see video 1) which can also get your list built up pretty damn quickly as a result.
Either way, Michael adds some great insider tips speaking from a guy who's run WSO's worth several thousands over a few short days. Sure, it sounds hard to believe from a forum but it's true and he's not the only one doing it.
VIDEO 3 - PRICE INCREASE SALES
Here, Michael explains the power 3 different types of sales that you can run which adds huge amounts of scarcity and
compels the visitors to take action before it's too late.
Instead of using the amount of copies as a scarcity tactic,
Michael explains how you can use these 3 specific sale types to use the price as the main point of scarcity.
Whilst many marketers may be familiar with these sale types,
Michael does a great job of explaining the mechanics and psychology of the offer and how you can still win big
pay checks from selling your products at a few nickels/pence per sale.
This approach is a great way to attract the maximum amount of BUYERS, not just tyre kickers or freebie seekers. But also, I liked the reminder about why this technique is something we should all be doing, not just those of us without lists or huge priced items to sell.
If you're not doing what
Michael explains here, then you're going to have to work twice as hard on the more common techniques to bring in targeted buyers. This
definitely a solid and time tested set of techniques that will work for any marketer providing they simply follow
Michael's advice. The reason why it works is because it is based on common business sense along with an age old sales psychology trick.
VIDEO 4 -
UP SELLS AND OTO's
Another powerful strategy that
Michael covers in more depth is by maximizing your profits from the same amount of traffic. I like this approach as I always struggle to continually get extra traffic.
With this strategy,
Michael explains how you don't really need extra traffic...you just need to implement either an upsell and/or OTO. An OTO stands for a "One Time Offer" and an upsell is a common secondary offer that you add after a person has already taken action.
Michael explains these two strategies in more depth than I have (obviously) and how, why and when to apply them in your business.
What I liked here is that
Michael explains how all this fits into each other and goes into some advanced strategies that most people don't talk about too often other than the basics. He even explains what to use in terms of the product you offer in these strategies, plus what types of products you use on the front end to get the people into your marketing funnel.
If some or all of this is alien sounding to you, then don't worry.
Michael explains things from the ground up and not just how, but why you need to be doing the things he talks about. So, if you're new to this sort of stuff then relax, he's got you covered too.
VIDEO 5 - AFFILIATE PROMOS AND BONUSES
Here, we get into the more powerful and often less used strategies of attracting targeted buyers to join up to your email list.
Many people will simply overlook this strategy as they think it's too complex to pull off. In my opinion, that's a great opportunity for you because after watching this video,
Michael shows you just how easy it is to get this strategy nailed.
This technique works pretty much as well as the rest if done right you'll see it in many places online, in all sorts of industries. I would say that this technique does require some common sense an a fair dose of marketing sense, here's why:
This system is all about providing a bonus to a product that you're promoting, so that when you promote someone else's product you make your offer not only unique but also
irresistible too. But as I say, only if done right.
If you get it wrong, you won't necessarily lose sales, but you probably will not gain many extra sales either. It does require having either an
existing list or good targeted traffic in order to do this, so probably not a good option to do this technique if you haven't already tried out the earlier techniques in the previous videos.
Either way, this is a good strategy that
definitely does work, because I see the top affiliates doing it all the time. Heck, I even see the top PPC (Pay Per Click) marketers doing it, so it must work otherwise they wouldn't be wasting their money doing it!
VIDEO 6 -
THANK YOU PAGE PROMO
This is where the techniques get more "undercover". You might have been exposed to this technique before but either way, this technique is proven to work because of simply sales psychology that
Michael clearly explains in this video.
This technique may require you to partner will another marketer in a
similar market. This is where most other marketers get scared off and end up not bothering with this technique at all. I would take that as a huge opportunity for you to learn this simple system of using other people's
thank you pages as a great way to attract targeted buyers to your list.
The best part is, using this technique you don't always need to sell anything upfront in order to get targeted, responsive buyers on your list! How cool is that? The
possibilities are endless with this technique, all depending on what you want to offer.
Michael explains the different options you can consider when teaming up with another marketer, so that whatever your situation you can fit this powerful technique into your arsenal of buyer grabbing methods.
Again, Michael goes into more detail about the psychology of why this strategy works and some real examples of how to implement it.
VIDEO 7 - CONTRIBUTE TO AN OTO
This is a super stealth strategy that I've overlooked until now. If you've followed along with the videos, you'll already know all about OTO's (One Time Offers). The reason I have not thought about this before is because I didn't know the "other side" of building a list this way.
In fact, this is one of those times where I kick myself and think "Man, I wish I thought of that before" and I really mean that. This is such a sneaky, yet totally win-win way to attract targeted potential buyers without having to sell them anything and actually helping out a fellow marketer to make more sales.
If you're new to online marketing or you're ready to see how easy it is to build a list without paying for traffic, then this video is a perfect example of the power of thinking outside the box.
I don't know how many people are already doing this, but I'm pretty sure a heck of a lot more will soon start bringing in this simple approach to building a list soon enough (including me!).
What I liked about this video is that
Michael goes deeper still, showing you different levels of possible partners to look for, depending on what you want to
achieve. He also shows you the exact techniques for actually finding these partners to apply this technique to! Very cool, especially if you're fairly new to doing Joint Ventures or partnerships.
Further still, Michael adds more value by giving you exact email examples that you can use to approach these possible partners. This is awesome for those who haven't done this sort of thing before and you could pretty much call this a plug in play strategy that any marketer can adopt, regardless of skill level or experience.
VIDEO 8 - CONTRIBUTE TO A PRODUCT
This technique is one step further than the previous technique in may ways, except that you're reaching people at a different stage and in a slightly more simple way.
This is a great technique that does also require looking actively for partners to team up with. The great thing is that
Michael does a great job of providing a customized email that you can send out to the possible partners in order to get a better response to your proposal.
This overall technique works really well because you usually get a great response because your offer is helping the other marketer as well as getting your foot in the door or THEIR buyers.
Michael gives some great ideas of the types of products that you can use/create as part of this technique. In fact, the first two ideas of products that he suggests are really intuitive and something that will compliment your partner's product perfectly.
This is something I really don't see all that often to be honest, usually because people are too busy trying to build a list the hard way. Along with the other techniques, this is such a lazy way to leverage other people's hard work, it's almost scary.
VIDEO 9 - HOLIDAY PROMOS
This technique is something I heard about a while ago but never really understood or new how to get involved in.
Michael explains how this lesser known system works and why it is so powerful for attracting targeted visitors to sign up to your list.
Michael shows you the step by step process from creating an initial offer, picking the right price point for this type of promotion, getting the names/email addresses the right way without annoying people and so on.
This is another great, underexposed avenue to explode your list. Not many people hold this system in high regard because they think that all the traffic that comes from a holiday promotion is just people looking for freebies and never willing to buy anything. That's why so many marketers don't get involved, but
Michael explains how he has built monster size lists of ready to buy people through this technique, and how you can too.
The fact that other
marketers think there's no money to be made here is their loss and you massive gain. I'd suggest learning more about this strategy before it catches on again...because there's a big holiday season coming up as you know!
VIDEO 10 - CROSS PROMOTION
With this video,
Michael explains how you can team up with other marketers and business owners online to pull in new buyers that are open to email promotions. Plus, if you do this right as per
Michael's instructions and email examples, you'll be able to attract
a lot of partners who are more than happy to go along with this. Why? Because they benefit in a really big way, and you build a list of responsive buyers at no cost.
This is the sort of techniques that most greedy marketers overlook. The reason why is because this won't provide massive up front profits for you, but it will get you a list of targeted, responsive buyers that you can promote to time after time into the future. Now that's a good trade off, considering you can use this technique to get them for free!
VIDEO 11 - ONCE YOU HAVE YOUR BUYERS LIST
Finally Michael explains what you need to do from here on out after you've actually built a list of responsive buyers. This video is pretty useful as he explains the strategy of cultivating your list and actually asking them to buy products. He explains the balance ratio between offering free advice and selling to your list. He also explains the importance of pitching the right price level of products depending on your list.
This is possibly a little short, but still useful to know of course, as a list is useless if you don't do anything with it!
Of course, this entire product is focused on the initial finding of targeted buyers that will join your list, so it's unfair to expect an entire course included on every aspect of emailing your list into the future.
I would say that some methods are easier/quicker to get started with than others here, and most are not completely new to the world of internet marketing. However, many are overlooked or simply not understood properly, or just
forgotten by the more experienced marketers.
Either way, each and every method is undeniably effective and proven. There's simply no way they cannot work, it's as simple as that. Furthermore, you understand the reasons why they work, you'll be even more powerful in your marketing efforts. |
